Files include Works Projects Administration project proposals to establish rural library service (1936); new center opening announcements (1937-1940), WPA library center agreements copies; supervising librarian applications (1933-1942); WPA library monthly reports (1935-1942); property control manual (1940); organizational charts (1940); travel and safety rules; supply lists (1936); WPA school library project description (1938); WPA war information centers program descriptions (1942); and project final report (1944). Also included is a narrative report concerning WPA worker strikes in protest against wages and layoff regulations which temporarily disrupted Perry County library service (July 1939).
